Causes of Acne Pimples

Pimples are inflammations of the skin. Acne pimples occur due to the excess of sebum released by sebaceous glands, which clog pores. Sometimes acne pimples appear as cysts or nodules, in a moderate to severe stage of acne.

Usually acne pimples appear because of hormonal imbalances in the body. These hormonal imbalances induce sebaceous glands to release more sebum. Sebum is oil that keeps your skin soft and moisturized. If sebaceous glands don’t release the necessary amount of sebum your skin will become dry. This sebum combines with dirt, dust or grease and dead skin cells and clog pores around the hair follicle of the skin. The oily secretion from sebaceous glands it is a good environment for some bacteria that naturally lives on our skin. When environment become moisturized, these bacteria flourish, developing acne pimples. Acne starts forming in the sebaceous hair follicle. Sebaceous hair follicles, named pores, become clog by the oil released by sebaceous glands. The defensive system of the body sends white blood cells to kill the flourished bacteria. This process cause inflammation of the skin and acne pimples occur.

Hygiene, diet, stress and sleep also influence your acne, so you must be careful what you do in order to remove your acne pimples efficiently.
